Background

Jim's Cellars, formed in 1994, is an independently owned family business. With a strong family background of over 30 years in the liquor industry, Jim's Cellars is the result of the sons' (Jim, Terry and John Georgas) desire to run their own business. In case you're wondering, they drew straws on the name.

Since that time Jim's has grown into one of the largest independent liquor retailers in Sydney, serving both Sydney and the rest of Australia.

Our Aim

Our aim is to search both Australia and the world for the best parcels of wine at a price we believe represents value for money. Quite often these deals come in the form of failed export orders or "cleanskins", with our size ensuring we can always buy in bulk.

You will find our product line-ups regularly rotated to ensure both variety and quality. This ensures that you'll always be able to find a bargain suited to both your tastes and your budget.

Quality assurance in our products is ensured by the fact that we ourselves are passionate wine drinkers. For Sydney we retain Fastway Couriers for both speed and accuracy of service. For areas outside Sydney, we use Australia Post Couriers, which ensures that if you receive mail from Australia Post, you can receive our wine deliveries.
